Trulittle Artistic Hero (12-18)

Navaeah Hoath (Aged: 16 years)

Navaeah is an amazing talent with a fantastic future ahead of her. Despite being born very unwell, being given little chance of survival, and being painfully shy after years of bullying at school, Navaeah finally found her voice after the passing of her dear Nana, of whom she had made a promise to use her gift (her voice) She decided to audition for the 'School of Rock' in the west end.

She made her West End Debut at only 8 years old, playing the first ever black 'Sophie'. This was a feat for Navaeah, as she felt she was representing young black girls in the Musical theater industry. Since then, Navaeah has played Young Tina in Tina the Musical West End, appeared in the TV series Efacuis as a featured role, appeared in numerous advertisements, and secured a scholarship place at Italia Conti School, a place at the Brit School, and a place at DMA London.

Navaeah has spoken at confidence workshops about her journey and at events such as the 'Little Leaders Fest' in the hope she can inspire other shy children to live their dreams. Navaeah won the BTA's Young Singer of the Year in 2020 and is heading to college to study further in September. Navaeah is also a young caregiver to her mom, who has epilepsy, and Ms. and her sister, who are Neurodiverse. Navaeah was a little girl who at one point hated who she was because of her color. She now holds her head high and sings with pride, all while staying humble and kind. She's my true little hero and inspiration.
