Jonelle Young (Aged: 9 years)


Since the pandemic started in March 2020, Jonelle has being hosting a weekly online program -Brixkidz Live - with her parents to motivate and inspire children to have a positive mindset though this difficult time. The program involves songs, stories, art, science, object lessons. and more to show children how to deal with difficult situation. Since 2021 she has involved more children to lead and enabling them to use their creative skills to continue to present online content for other children to watch all over the world. Jonelle not only presents but she sings, plays the piano, and demonstrate art lessons online while continuing to achieve academic excellence.

Jonelle started presenting Brixkidz Live with her parents at the start of the initial lockdown and has not stopped presenting. She has influenced other children to join her and they are now the main presenters on the program every Saturday 11:30 am online  at - see videos at She is also one of the main presenter of the radio version of Brixkidz Live on Adventist Radio London -DABShe is very artistic and presents a Bible Art Challenge on the program which encourages children to use their artistic skills - see example She also used the platform to encourage children to read during the lockdown in a book club challenge eg. - or

Jonelle enjoys singing and playing the piano (she completed Grade 1 successful and continued online lessons during lockdown and is ready for her Grade 3). She has done a number of solos on the programs and for different online and church audiences - eg

Favour Balogun-Wilson (Aged: 14 years)


Favour is the first teenager in the world to write a book titled; (A Teenager In Lockdown, A Survivor's Story) on COVID-19 pandemic, duly published and distributed globally with multiple endorsements. The writing of the book started in March 2020. She is an exceptionally gifted and talented young lady whose parents are based in Scotland but originally from Nigeria. She was born and bred in Scotland, the United Kingdom. She is the first of three children and from the age of Four has shown brilliance, intelligence, and thirst for knowledge as shared by her parents, teachers, and tutors. Her room is a mini library where she displays hundreds of books already studied.

The Fourteen-year-old Miss B-Wilson has shared her journey through the coronavirus pandemic to help others especially teenagers and parents to fight and survive the daunting feeling of isolation during lockdown.

The book A Teenager In Lockdown: A Survivor’s Story reveals her ups and downs of balancing life and school under the pressure of the unprecedented situation.
In the form of short stories, Favour discusses her fears and thoughts, favourite hobbies, and the importance of having the support of family and friends during the months of uncertainty. Most important to her was the desire to help others on how to cope with circumstances of life such as COVID lockdown scenarios.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Favour in the words of the Former President of Nigeria H.E Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR as part of his remark during the book launch on the 30th of Jan. 2021, has turned Lemon into lemonade! He praised her intellectual acumen and challenged other youths to emulate her. Favour's book has been received by Queen Elizabeth II as a gift, endorsed by the Scottish Libraries and currently distributed across all the libraries for public reading. The book has been widely published by many journals including The UK Press and Journal - Date: 2nd of March 2021, The Evening Express; Date: 3rd of March 2021, The KUMON press success story, The Nigerian Presidency (Nigerian In Diaspora Commission -NiDCOM- Press), The Scottish Library press.

Favour has been invited to multiple youth events as Special Guest to speak and inspire a new generation globally. This book has inspired thousands of youths globally as testimonies have been pouring in since the launch in January 2021. It has motivated many kids to develop their reading and writing potential. The book has been endorsed by President of nations, UN Ambassadors, over Ten Professors, envoys, and the global business community.
