Kenya has overcome great adversity and turned her negative experiences into a positive initiative to help others. Having suffered severe bullying from age 12, which ultimately led to a decline in her own mental health and wellbeing, Kenya decided that every young person deserved to have good mental health and support. Following her own recovery and personal journey towards self-love and better management of her own emotional wellbeing, Kenya launched her own business in 2021 - Kenya's Diaries. Kenya's Diaries aims to encourage young people to take better care of their mental and emotional health, primarily through regularly practicing self-love, kindness, and gratitude. Based on her own experiences, Kenya designed and published her very own Positivity Journal and more recently self-love activity packs to encourage young people to have open conversations about their feelings/mental health. Kenya also supports several charities so that young people are aware of the support that is available to them, and has spoken at several events, including one at the House of Lords.
