Trulittle Samaritan Hero (7-11)
Ruth is a girl with a generous heart and one of the Girlsparkles. Apart from being an Author of 3 books (QuietTime for Young people volume 1, QuietTime for Young people volume 2 and Angel Kindly) she is a cheerful giver. When she hasn't got enough money to buy what she wants to give out to people on their birthdays, she takes time and energy to make crafts just to make people smile.
Ruth embarked on a Homeless Project in the community in 2017. She once interviewed homeless people to find out how they are doing, how they cope and why they are homeless. This gave her a bit of understanding of what it means to be homeless and how to help the less privileged in her own little way. Extra money made from book sales were utilised by buying gifts -mainly food items- for the homeless and rough sleepers at the Nuneaton town centre. These gifts included milk, socks, beans, brioche and fruit bars neatly wrapped as Christmas presents and given to the homeless on the streets on Christmas day.
Due to house move and a tragedy the family faced (burglary), she couldn't carry out the project in 2018 but she has started making plans to repeat the project in 2019 in Rugby on Christmas day. A video of one of her contacts with the homeless is in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u7itTif-EA
I believe Ruth deserves to have an award for her book-writing skills and a cheerful heart of giving.

One of her biggest accomplishments so far were to travel to Kenya, Slovakia, Bali, Malaysia, Dubai and New York. When she went to Kenya, Inspiring Vanessa was doing volunteer work to support the children in an orphanage, in Western Kenya. This made her the youngest volunteer to go out, which made her feel very honoured. She actually planning to go back at the beginning of 2019! When she spoke in Slovakia, She had the opportunity to speak in front of 1000 people and it was such an incredible experience. Other accomplishments include attending different movie premieres as well as presenting shows like the London Fashion Week in 2018, February and September!
Her goal is to inspire other children and adults to be themselves, believe and have courage to be who they want to be ...INSPIRE - MOTIVATE – BELIEVE
Favourite quote - made by Inspiring Vanessa "life is like a flower, so try and keep those petals on" - it means that each petal represents stages of our lives, once we were a child and that petal falls of you can't take that time back again, so use your time wisely.
